For starters, we’ve got oats, which are known for their vitamins, minerals, fiber and antioxidants (not to mention their ability to help reduce heart disease). With more protein and good fat than most grains, oats also fill you up and keep you filled for longer periods of time compared to other whole grains.

1. In a medium pan, mix all ingredients together except the berries.

2. Cook oats until a creamy consistency.

3. Top with berries and alternatively a drizzle of maple syrup or nut butter.
