Homemade Ranch Dressing

Try Our Easy Homemade Ranch Dressing

Ranch dressing gets a healthy upgrade in this versatile recipe. Apple cider vinegar has long been considered a cure-all home remedy for improving digestion and lowering blood sugar and cholesterol. Research also indicates it soothes acid reflux and heartburn. Creamy salad dressings are a great way to mask its strong, acidic (some say acquired) flavor. What also makes this ranch dressing healthier is olive oil mayonnaise, which cuts out the processed seed and vegetable oils in regular mayonnaise. There’s not much that doesn’t improve with a dollop of ranch. Mix it in a salad of crisp shredded vegetables, and use it as a dip for crackers and veggie sticks or as a sauce for chicken and fish.

Say hello to the simple ingredient list for our Homemade Ranch Dressing.

  • 6 ounces Greek yogurt, plain

  • 8 ounces sour cream

  • 1⁄4 cup apple cider vinegar

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil mayonnaise

  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley

  • 1 1⁄2 teaspoon dried onion

  • 1 teaspoon dried garlic

  • 1 1⁄2 tablespoons everything bagel seasoning

  • Pinch of sea salt and black pepper

The method is very simple. All you have to do is…

  • Mix all wet ingredients together.
  • Whisk in dried ingredients.
  • Season to taste.
  • Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
