Rosemary Mocktail

Rosemary Mocktail

Besides being a symbol of friendship and hospitality, rosemary has many healing properties. Its uplifting herbal aroma sharpens the senses and is said to enhance memory and concentration. It brings anti-inflammatory compounds to recipes and aids digestion. In drinks like my Rosemary Mocktail, it’s all that plus a fragrant garnish and flavor enhancer. Chances are you have some growing in your garden. If not, it’s easy to grow on a windowsill. Mix rosemary with tangy fresh orange and sweet pineapple juice in this refreshing, immune-boosting mocktail. You’ll feel like you’re sitting at a craft cocktail bar!

Ingredients:

 3-4 slices of fresh orange

• 2 oz. pineapple juice

• 1 oz. simple syrup

•  seltzer

• 2 sprigs of rosemary

Instructions:

1. Muddle the orange slices in a shaker or a glass jar.

2. Add ice, pineapple juice and simple syrup.

3. Strain into a glass, top with seltzer and garnish with rosemary sprigs. Enjoy!
